Passante wins Stevie® Award for Women in Business
New York, New York – Linda Passante, Managing Partner and Co-Founder of brand development agency The Halo Group, was named a winner Monday in the Best Entrepreneur – Service Businesses – Up to 100 Employees – Advertising/Marketing/Public Relations category of the Stevie Awards for Women in Business.Passante was in good company at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, where hundreds of women business owners, executives, bloggers and mentors were gathered from all 50 states and many countries around the world, including Canada, Pakistan, South Africa and Ireland.
“I have been defying convention for 25 years and I am thrilled to be in this room with such accomplished women who are also defying convention,” said Passante. She also thanked her mother, “who is my biggest fan.”
Hailed as “the business world’s own Oscars” (New York Post, April 27, 2005), the Stevie Awards for Women in Business is an international competition honoring women executives, entrepreneurs and the companies they run. Members of the Board of Distinguished Judges and Advisors determined each category’s winners among the finalists.
